Plot

It has been a little under a year since the Elite Four was challenged and defeated by the trainer Gold from New Bark Town, and in that time the Johto Champion has all but disappeared from public. Some say the boy left to further train his team in the remote places of the world, while others believe he went to seek the Kanto Champion, Red from Pallet Town, who himself has not been seen for some years. But even with both Champions gone the regions of Kanto and Johto have remained at peace, if not prosperity. The once powerful criminal organization Team Rocket lies in shambles after their plots in Johto were foiled by Gold, and the cities and routes have never been safer or more teeming with wild Pokemon. News of this has reached the other regions of the world, and trainers from Hoenn, Kalos, and others flock to Vermilion City and Cianwood City, while local kids eagerly await the start of their own Pokemon journey. The time for adventure has never been more right, and with the legends of Red and Gold reaching their end, the start of new stories are sure to begin.


Victory Road is a freeform Pokemon RP based in the Kanto and Johto regions which largely takes place in the time following Pokemon Gold and Silver, though some parts of the anime may be used. The site plot is open and primarily determined by the individual plots, stories, and goals of our members, though periodic events and contests will be created by the staff, and a larger plot may emerge depending on how things go. Overall though Victory Road is a Pokemon RP where members are allowed to create the adventures they want their characters to have!
