Born and raised in Celadon, Beatrice was the oldest of three and the biggest pain in the ass. She was a terror as a child, in no small part due to her parents' lack of experience; she ruled the playground, knocking over kids five years older than her without remorse (because, dammit, it was her turn on the slide). The untimely death of her mother to a medical condition made her behavior worse. By the time she hit 9, she was prone to disappearing for hours, only to return home with an unhappy police officer and a few new scrapes. Intending to keep her safe, her father, a retired coordinator, gifted young Bee a protective Froakie and allowed her the stray Zorua that she fed on the fire escape.

Bee took this as permission to start her own Pokemon journey. She returned three days later with a broken arm and a social worker. Her father considered this a wake-up call; he had to shape up, and it all started with reigning in his daughter. He did his best, refusing her the funds and items for a journey until she completed school. He grew more strict. Bee took years to plan her escape this time. She left at age 15 with a Frogadier and her Zorua to pursue better opportunities elsewhere.

She trained hard. She lived off her winnings from legit battles and underground fights. She returned home five years later, a changed woman in that she'd gained some measure of self-discipline and a new appreciation for native Johto culture, to realize her father was nowhere to be found. According to her youngest sibling, the only one she managed to contact, he disappeared with another woman, and left them to fend for themselves.

Without a home or a family to return to, Beatrice returned to the only thing she knew how to do: fight. She blew through the gyms like a proper trainer, sending money every so often to her youngest sibling. After the final gym, the phenom went for the top of the Pokemon league. With a tiny team composed of the strongest Pokemon she met on her journey, nobody expected her to beat them, but the rainbow-haired rebel from Celadon City tried again and again til she finally won. After basking in her glory with a solid week of partying, she received an invitation from the Johto League: join the Elite 4 as the Dark type representative. One serious remodel of the Dark room later to suit her needs, and the girl that came outta nowhere became one of the most prestigious trainers in the region.

Nowadays, she splits her time between pestering the other elites and exploring Kanto. Kage is never far behind, ensuring she doesn't do something she'll regret. As of late, she's gotten a little restless in her prestigious position, dissatisfied with the lack of upward mobility. There's no telling what she'll do next.
