Born in Oldale Town in the Hoenn region, Heather Briony started her Pokemon journey when she was 10 years old with her very own Treecko (who she's named Amara). Over three years, she trained her Pokemon to be the very best, taking on Gym battle after Gym battle until she could finally face the Elite Four and the Hoenn champion. Though she lost her battle against the champion, she learned much and seeks to pass on that knowledge to newer trainers. Heather spent the next year exploring the Hoenn region and all it had to offer.

One day, while Heather and Amara were traveling through the Petalburg Woods, they came face to face with a raging forest fire. Heather was unharmed, but her precious Amara was injured by the raging fire. Heather, desperate to help her best friend, carried Amara all the way to the Petalburg Pokemon Center. Amara was healed and the bond between Trainer and Pokemon allowed Amara to evolve into a Grovyle. Despite the events of that day passing without serious tragedy, it's left Heather with a strong fear of fire.

On Heather's 14th birthday, she left all of her Pokemon at home (minus Amara) and traveled the other regions of the world to become a master of her favorite Pokemon type: Grass. Over the next years, she made many friends between people and Pokemon alike. Finally, Heather found herself in the Kanto/Johto region where she decided once again to take on the Pokemon Gym Challenge. Once again, Heather made it to the Elite Four, but fell short of claiming the title of Champion.

Obtained: Caught by Heather in the desert ruins of Unova while visiting her friend working at the dig site.

Obtained: Raised from a Skiddo while Heather was traveling the Kalos region.

Obtained: Liberated from Team Rocket while visiting Floroma Meadows in Sinnoh
