Biography
Shortly after Rylee turned five, she developed a rare disease which left her bedridden until she turned ten. During that time she rarely saw the outside world and never left Palet town, where she'd born. When at last the sickness passed, Rylee spent the next two years regaining her strength to finally achieve her dream of going on her very own Pokemon journey.
While Rylee was sick, she heard stories from her father about his travels to the other regions. He described Pokemon so vividly that Rylee could see them in her mind's eye. Unfortunately, the descriptions were so vivid that they left her with a strong fear of Ghost Pokemon and a discomfort towards most fully evolved Bug Pokemon.
Now that Rylee is twelve and healthy, she's eager to begin her very own journey with her starter Pokemon: Maya the Pikachu!

Obtained: When Rylee went to the local Pokemon professor to get her starter, she was shown the standard Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, however Rylee thought they all looked equally adorable and couldn't make a decision. The professor, seeing this, decided to show Rylee a fourth Pokemon: a Pikachu, which Rylee began to bond with immediately.
