Pokémon have been a part of this boy's life for as long as he can remember, or perhaps even more so than he would be willing to admit. Whether they had been encountered in the wild within the routes near his beloved home, or even if some had been kept by his parents as pets throughout the early stage of his youth, it was simply no real surprise that Victor Alecxander Noési had gained a dynamic affinity for these majestic creatures.

A native of western Unova, in the brisk city of Mistralton, Victor's upbringing was a rather simple one indeed. He had spent much of his younger days performing volunteer work for the famed Mistralton Cargo Service; packing supplies and taking inventory for any incoming stock as well. Because he had been out on the field for a vast majority of his time spent there, he had grown accustomed to the cool climate.

So what were his parents doing the entire time, one might ask. The lady of the house helped tend to the crops all around town while his old man aspired to challenge critically acclaimed Unova Leage someday. It was sad to say however that he didn't quite make it that far.

One day, while Victor was once again out on the field preparing cargo to be shipped, he heard sounds of strained chirping in a bush along one of the routes connecting to Mistralton City - likely the works of some form of avian creature. Lo and behold, Victor found a baby bird pokémon, a Pidove no less. The poor thing appeared to have had injured one of its tiny wings. The boy took under his wing (no pun intended) and nursed the baby pigeon pokémon back to health. They would come to grow somewhat of a partnership and have since then been practically inseparable.

It was through this newly formed bond that Victor had ultimately decided that he wished to become a pokémon trainer.

Victor's old man returned home from his travels, coincidentally on his sixteenth birthday. The boy was presented with an egg, a pokémon egg to be exact as quite an unorthodox birthday gift. Victor spent the next several days after caring for the egg, ensuring that there would be no 'accidents'. One late night while the hopeful trainer-in-the-making was fast asleep, the egg hatched. The next morning, Victor awakened to the sight of an oddly colored Snivy laying beside him.

A year then passed since the birth of that leafy pokémon, and it was now only recently that Victor decided to begin their training. The boy and his two new pokéfriends took to a nearby cave to isolate themselves so that no one can disturb themselves. But alas, an unruly Axew took it upon itself to cause some mischief. It took the combined efforts of the Pidove and Snivy to silence it, and in turn this allowed Victor to capture it. This experience helped strengthen the bond with his poképals, very much so to the point that the tiny pegion pokémon had quickly reached new heights in the form of Tranquill; its second stage of evolution.

Shortly after, the boy managed to muster the courage to drop the bombshell that he too wished to embark on his own pokémon journey. He and his father set out for Nuvema Town, and while doing so, the boy was informed him that Kanto and Johto were the most ideal regions to start. With that in mind, Victor, alongside his three pokéfriends, boarded the next plane bound for Kanto where his story - yet to be written - would soon begin.
