Biography
Haruko grew up in the beautiful city of Slateport, where she saw many different kinds of people because it was a port town. At a young age she would always run down to the market to see all the different wares from so many different cultures. Haruko was especially interested in the art, which captivated her to start drawing very young. She knew that the people who traveled in and out of the city must have seen so many beautiful things that she knew she needed to travel and see the beautiful sights of the world.
Also being in love with Pokemon, she knew the best option was for her to become a Pokemon Trainer, to create a bond with those Pokemon and have them accompany her on her travels to see the world was beautiful in itself. She saved up money and purchased a Pokemon Egg from a traveling merchant, and a beautiful little Eevee hatched which she fell in love with instantly and she named him Felix. She began to travel the world, going to many different regions. She focused on being an artist first before she saw two trainers battle which really pushed her to wanting to train and become a better trainer. During her travels she caught a Pancham she named Bradley, a Munchlax she named Munchy, a Lotad she named Disco, a Politoed she named Rupert, and a Fletchling named Kasai.
Having heard of the Festival in Johto, Haruko decided to travel there to see the sights before she began to embark fully on her quest to become the Champion.
