Biography
Growing up, Lucian had never had an example of a healthy and loving relationship. His father wasn't very faithful to his mother, and his mother was always jealous, insistent that Lucian told her what his father was doing, with who. And perhaps that was why growing up as a Teenager in Pewter City, he had trouble holding a relationship of his own. He and some friends had started a band in school, and he quickly gained a reputation as the school Play boy. He was the love them leave them type, and that continued until he turned 18 years old. That was when a boat of tourists changed his life for what he thought was the better. Well, one tourist in particular changed his life, and that was a young woman by the name of Alana. Alana was visiting from the Alola region, and he was smitten with her almost immediately.
She was there, meant to be on vacation for two weeks. But she never ended up taking the boat home. And at the age of nineteen, fairly young according to her mother, the two were married. She gifted him a Young Rockruff from her region as a wedding present, knowing his appreciation for rock type Pokemon.His unfaithful habits ceased after meeting Alana, and not long after they were married she became pregnant with their child. They were going to have a son. But Alana ended up having complications during the birth, and she passed away after delivering the baby at the age of twenty.
Lucian was beside himself with grief, though he wouldn't blame her death on his son, and worked through his grief with his mother's help, on the track to becoming a proper father to the little boy who he had named Alan. When the old Gym Leader of Pewter City stepped down, Lucian entered a small tournament to determine who would take their place. Winning out, he became the Gym Leader for the city.
