Friends have always been a fairly complicated thing for Leon.
Due to his parents' professions, it was a rare thing when the family ever remained in a location for more than a year at a time, and it's had a rather significant impact on him. Fairly independent from the start and quite far ahead of others in his age group in regards to maturity and intelligence, the constant movement only served to further separate and isolate him from most people. Unlike his sister it was all Leon really knew growing up, and he just didn't see much point to connecting with others when those bonds were going to be inevitably severed in a short time anyways.
Just because Leon doesn't actively seek out such relationships, though, doesn't mean he's actively opposed to them. While it wasn't an intended goal, leaving home has effectively broken him free of the moving cycle, and Leon is still human. Forming attachments with people is really just a matter of time spent and shared interests, although this is likely to be far easier with individuals older than him due to Leon's temperament.
Of particular note, however, any childhood friends that Leon may've made during the time that his family spent moving around Kalos would be more than welcome, especially since these individuals would've been few and far between.

Unlike friends, this is something that Leon has had plenty of experience with - although more in the manner that children tend to be petty and mean, rather than the actual hatred and vendettas adults tend to be capable of. How these tend to be earned vary greatly, though, as there is a fair amount of Leon's personality that tend to just rub people the wrong way. When confronted with conflict, his usual go to response is to remain silent and try to leave, which many might take for arrogance or a deliberate attempt to ignore. Other times his less than socially acceptable thoughts might slip through his mental filter to be spoken out loud. With adults it can sometimes just be the fact that he tends to stand up to them or that he doesn't hold back with his opinions and words when finally pushed to openly speak.
LOVESHIPS
Leon's nine. Short of a childhood infatuation, this isn't going anywhere. On the note of "Other", however, Leon does have a 15-16 year old sister (which will be detailed in the Wanted Ads), although she's lived separately from him with their father for over two years.
