BIOSamael has no problem talking to strangers - and he does love to talk - but he’s clearly a little off his rocker, and his manic energy in combination with his stature and tattoos can be intimidating. He doesn’t make friends easily because he tends to quickly scare people off. However, some may find that beyond how dangerous he is, he sort of has the appeal of a puppy: excitable, friendly, and easy to bribe with food. He can be a good friend, if he comes to care about somebody, but considering he’s as distractible as a two-year-old, he may not be a very reliable one. ENEMIESLikely.Samael’s almost unrelenting energy quickly labels him annoying and/or insane to most of the people he meets. Besides that, he’s childish and not very bright, he has a temper, he can be selfish, violent, forgetful, distractible… his negative traits far outweigh his positive traits. Then there’s his unhealthy interest in pain, whether that be the pain of himself or others, which he’s not shy about making known. Being in Team Rocket doesn’t usually win him friends either, to say the least. All in all, he has a lot going for him in regards to making enemies. ROMANCEUnlikely… sort of.A serious relationship is not what Samael is looking for. He’s not keen on commitment, and it’s difficult to gauge if he even has the emotional capacity to really love someone. However, he does grow fond of people, so a solid relationship might not be impossible, just… daunting. In the physical department, on the other hand, Samael has no such barriers - he is far too touchy for most people’s comfort, and loves platonic gestures of physical affection. And sleeping around. PLOTTINGI’m really open to whatever! Reply here or PM me to plot! WISHLIST:- Samael has a huge soft spot for cutesy Pokemon. If you have a cute Pokemon, he will shamelessly gush over it.
- An unlikely-looking friend would be real fun. It’ll have to be someone assertive who’s not afraid to boss him around - because he is pretty easily bossed around, just most people don’t figure that out lol. But helping him out, or even just bribing him with food, is enough to win his favor.
- He’s pretty quiet about being in Team Rocket, but someone finding out about it could easily make him an enemy, or possibly introduce some drama into a friendship~
- I like shipping (⊙‿⊙✿) so I’m open to friends with benefits or working toward an actual serious relationship if the chemistry works out.

So both of these guys grew up around Team Rocket. Kenneth was dragged out of it and eventually became a Gym Leader, but he still has a strong grudge against Team Rocket for essentially using him as a youth, a sort of blind hatred if you will. So, it would be interesting to see these two meet at some point and having Kenneth learn that Samael is a member of Team Rocket. Maybe start out as sort of friendly and then enemies? I think it would be fun to see how they interact.

So, I got an idea after seeing you respond to this bubbling sunflower's open thread. Alicia is the pinnacle of what I see that Samael dislikes about new trainers, she is a bright eyed, enthusiastic trainer that just can't wait to show the world how ready she is to beat it. And now with the two of them interacting, specifically with Alicia being a bundle of energy, it would be quite amusing for Alicia to at least one-sidedly decide that they are now friends. I mean she also bakes if she has ingredients so she can bribe him with food. She also has a cute Pokemon, well maybe, depends on what Samael defines as cute. And if anything came up with her learning that he is part of Team Rocket, she would do everything that she could to prove that he shouldn't be with the group (even if it is something that she won't actually accomplish). Anyways, about to work on a reply to the thread, just wanted to throw some ideas around here!

Yesssss I love this idea! I'd even be up for shipping them if the chemistry works out man. No pressure if you're not feelin' it though! How might their first encounter go? I'm thinking either Samael could get beat up or something for the sake of mellowing him out for a bit lol, Kenneth could find him and help him out. Or maybe one of his Pokemon is hurt instead. And for the shipping idea, I can see Kenneth being into something like that, or at least light flirtations since I'm imagining Kenneth to be like Captain Jack from Doctor Who/Torchwood. He basically introduces himself and attempts to hit on anyone that looks like his type. And for Kenneth that would be basically anyone of age. |

She wouldn't dislike anyone because of course everyone is good, right? Yeah, she is quite naive. And yeah, of course she'll try, but will most likely not succeed. But it is fun storytelling, watching her realize that not everything is all sparkly rainbows and other such stuff. |

So with Kat and Samael both being Team Rocket members it's probably not too big a stretch to say they've met each other at least once before the group disbanded, even if their work probably didn't cross a whole lot, what with Kat being a more behind-the-scenes operative and Samael being more like muscle for the group.
That being said, I feel like a friendship between the two of them could be a lot of fun! Maybe one that was kind of like off and on, just whenever they were in the same hideout or something together? It sounds like they're both outgoing and energetic in their own ways, and with Kat being a career criminal with her own set of disreputable quirks, she's probably a lot more comfortable around Samael's violent/sadomasochistic tendencies than the average trainer. That, and since they both can be a little childish by the sound of it I can just imagine the two of them having like...wreaked havoc in the TR hideouts all the time with little pranks and games. x3 Like the entirety of Team Rocket just collectively sighing when they find all their Poke Balls duct taped to the ceiling as Kat, a senior member of TR, and Samael, this giant intimating guy, just lose it in the background.
But yeah let me know what you think! I'm obviously up to any ideas/modifications or whatever, but I just think the two of them could have an interesting dynamic together, what with Kat being kind of the brains and Samael the brawn, but having some similarities between them as well.

Yessss I like this!! Brains & brawn dynamic sounds perfect for them lol. And yES pranks would also abound pfffft. They probably fell out of touch as Kat climbed higher in the ranks and got busy with other things, and of course after the mess of Team Rocket's defeat. Would be fun for them to run into each other by coincidence, like maybe Kat's in the middle of some scheme and Samael busts in and inadvertently wrecks it, or maybe Samael gets into trouble with authorities and Kat slides in and gets him out of it lol. |

Ahhh I'm glad! But yeah that would make sense. With all that's happened lately I can imagine they've drifted apart a bit and don't keep contact really, although with Kat keeping her information network as alive as she can it's not impossible that she's heard bits and pieces of Samael passing through Kanto. But haha that sounds great to me! Maybe combine the two and have Samael throw a wrench in one of Kat's plots only to have them both arrested, and they have to work together to get out like old times? Up to you though!
But on that note: would you want to do a thread then sometime soon? If not just let me know when you'd like them to meet up!
